Cookie Policy

Effective Date: 2 December 2025

Last Updated: 2 December 2025

This cookie policy explains what cookies we use, why we use them, and how consent is managed via Usercentrics. It confirms that non‑essential cookies are blocked until consent is given through the Usercentrics banner and explains how users can change or withdraw consent.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device to store information about your visit. Essential cookies are required for the site to function; non‑essential cookies (Functional, Analytics, Marketing) are used only with your consent.

How we use cookies

  • Essential cookies: enable core site functions such as navigation, security, and the cookie consent mechanism. These are always active.

  • Functional cookies: remember preferences and improve usability.

  • Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve content and performance.

  • Marketing cookies: enable advertising, remarketing, and personalization. All non‑essential cookies are not loaded until the visitor gives explicit consent via the consent banner.

Consent management with Usercentrics

We use Usercentrics as our Consent Management Platform (CMP). Usercentrics displays the cookie banner, records consent choices, and blocks non‑essential cookies and scripts until consent is granted. Usercentrics supports automated site scans and Google Consent Mode v2 to help preserve advertising and analytics functionality while respecting consent choices. The integration also disables non‑essential cookies and scripts by default until consent is provided, which may affect third‑party apps and integrations (for example, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar) until the relevant consent is given.

Third‑party cookies

Some cookies are set by third parties (e.g., analytics, social networks, ad networks). We list third‑party cookies in the cookie declaration available in the privacy center and in the Usercentrics preference center. We do not control third‑party cookie practices; please consult the third party’s privacy policy for details.

Managing and withdrawing consent

Visitors can change or withdraw consent at any time using the cookie preference center (accessible via the cookie banner or the privacy link in the site footer). Withdrawing consent will stop future non‑essential cookies from being set; it does not affect processing already carried out based on prior lawful consent.

Data retention and legal basis

Cookie data retention periods vary by cookie and provider; retention details are available in the cookie declaration. Where required, consent is the legal basis for non‑essential cookies; essential cookies rely on legitimate interest or necessity for site operation.
